“I find it almost bewildering when people ask me why I play music or why I sing. To me, it’s like asking a dolphin why it swims in the ocean. It’s who I am, just as breathing is, or my smile. Music plays me. The songs write me. My greatest desire has always been to be the purest vessel I can be in allowing this energy to move through me. To work on my skills the best I can and to allow the music to flow honestly in each and every moment. It’s not about being perfect or the best, it’s about simply being me.”
